**I/E is a time for Intervention or Enrichment
Snacks and Water Bottles
We block out a snack time each and every day. It is important that your child bring a healthy, reasonably sized snack to school each morning. I have included a small list of healthy snack suggestions here. Please send a no spill water bottle marked with your child's name, too, please. We will keep water bottles next to the sink, and I will send them home every Friday so they can be washed if they haven't been taken home regularly.
- fresh fruit or vegetables
- string cheese
- yogurt (spoon, please)
- almonds
- applesauce cup
- popcorn
- raisins
- granola bar
- ziploc of non-sugary cereal
Birthdays
We will celebrate each student's birthday on or as close to the actual day with a wellness choice (limbo, freeze dance, go noodle) and an extra recess. We choose one day in May to celebrate all summer birthdays. If you would like to send birthday treats in addition to our wellness choices, please let me know. Thanks!
